Becoming independent

Were we created to be slaves? Were we created to have a noose around our neck? Or brain? Our life? Our freewill? Of course not. We were created to have a freewill. A choice. I don't know if people struggle in different verses of the Bible...I certainly do. Jesus reinterpreted many Scriptures of the OT in the NT. It's undeniable. Many times Jesus said...you have heard it said....but I tell you. Matthew is full of these changes. Paul reinterpreted principles. Oxen to ministers...etc.  even James and Paul interpreted "faith" differently. James's faith focused on external evidence. Paul's "faith"  focused on internal knowledge of one's self. Many different ways to interpret what happened, from the OT to the NT and even within the NT itself. Any student of Scripture will know Jesus came to break the mold that women were forced to remain in. They were always downtrodden.  Why can't people see the change? Jesus changed so many interpretations of Scripture.  Paul did. James did. God did. I mean...sex with parents and siblings was permitted from Adam and Eve...until banned by Moses. How else do you think the world grew in population? Can't people see what was permitted once is no longer permitted? Or vice a versa ? Jesus came to lift women up from the downtrodden state men placed them in. Gone are the days of women in chains of the brain, mind. Sex slaves.  Marriage is supposed to be two people walking together. Marriage is not supposed to be....partner...is it ok if I am human? Is it ok if I live? Marriage  is not to have padlocks on one party. " You do what I say!!". No. That's taking away someone's life. Yes. There must be agreement.  Yes. But not subservience.  Subservience is wicked and evil. Amos 3:3...do not two walk together  unless they agree? That is so simple to understand....unless they AGREE....  What sort of sane person would agree to marry someone who says....I lay at your feet, so walk all over me. Give me no liberty. Give me no freedom. I am but a trash person.  What sort of sane person enters this relationship? An insane person.  No. Two must agree. That's Scripture. So...you want to marry me? Understand....I will work. I will earn. I will work here. My choice. Marry me.....this is the relationship  between us. Choose where you live. Choose where you work. But don't you dare "command" people to lose their freedom..  didn't you read where Jesus said...whoever harms one of my little ones... you may as well put a millstone around your neck....
