Changing Meanings.....

We all read our own stories over this covid corona business. Each newspaper has its own foci, so you read what they want you to read. The other sad thing is that many news outlets are focused on this time of -loss of all human reasoning- and sad to that some people are really revealing their base natures through what they tell people to think. Take the words “social distancing”. If anyone stops to think, they are total opposites. To be social is to be kind, generous, close and seeking to make a relationship. Laughter, holding, hugging, sharing a table, intimate etc. That is to be a social person. Distancing (Anti-social) has always meant to keep aloof, to be not friendly, cold distant. So, one word means to be close. The other means to be apart. So, now, a new word is coined, social distancing. Means together and apart. It cannot be. You cannot have two opposites, and call them one. You are either social or you are anti-social. You are either close or you are distancing. So, the government instruction should have been “I am an anti-social person”) So, instead of pounding the media, trying to turn a lie, into the truth, Social distancing, why not call it what it is “anti-social person”. The people who make the term above, clearly did not understand the nuances of the words social and distancing. Like saying a cold hot potato? There is nothing social about it. People screaming at people for not wearing a mask. Killing people for not wearing a mask. But why stress? You are wearing a mask. You are so protected from me. What is your paranoia about my choice? That’s very anti-social to get insane over my choices. You are scared of …fear. Wear it. Wear two. Does not your mask, protect you from me? So wear it. Me? I don’t need protection from you. I am quite capable of trusting God for my time of death, and no one else determines my sickness or my death. You are paranoid? OK, your choice. Me, I am not paranoid. My choice. Why do you force me, which I won’t succumb to, to be paranoid like you? You are simply showing your nature and character. How can you want to live in a society, participate in a society, but hate and fear every person as your “grim reaper”. I notice it is forced downwards, but somehow, the exempted class is allowed to get away with all, whilst laughing at the paranoia that it created. Forever they are above the rules. Always exempted. The “show for the camera” may fool some, the anti-social, but they are always caught off guard by some camera somewhere. Am grateful president Trump is opening up churches of America, and even his staunchest critics have backed down..Fox News article.. Under the California governor’s guidelines, churches and other houses of worship can reopen if they are given approval from county health officials, but must limit attendance to 25 percent of capacity or 100 people, whichever is less. Religious gatherings are allowed provided these shall be limited to five persons in areas under MECQ, and limited to 10 persons for GCQ areas, (ahm... 5 is not even one family; and 10 is not even two families). But then again, pagans do not care about God’s people. Read the Bible. They Heb 11: 35-38 burnt them, cut them in half, shoot them etc etc etc. read. America C19 deaths at time of writing 99, 805. Philippines 873. Population/deaths percentage 0.03041% of the American population have C19 died. Philippines 0.00082% of the population have C19 died. These figures and statistics are available to you if you just google what you are looking for. I do not see the media pushing facts. I see them pushing fear. What has this got to do with church? Well, remember, this is titled, Weekly Reflection. Mine. Facts are available to all. Does anyone bother? Few. Assessment of the facts can be made by all. Does anyone bother? Few. Few can see what is going on. What is going on? Think, and you will have your answer. Ex 1:11 slave master to oppress them. Pharaoh nominated people to oppress. This is a Biblical fact. What a blessing to have this happen to us now, Ps 105: 12-15. Where the people of God were protected, physically by God. He allowed no one to oppress them. Ex 8: 22 and 9: 26. Would but the LORD give us Goshen now. Mask free, alcohol free. Free to worship. But for now; God has placed some people in the world where freedoms continue. Others in the world where there is oppression. And others in the world with severe oppression Acts 17 : 26. God appointed the country, place, state, suburb, where we must live in. He appointed some countries to actually help people, and he appointed some countries where not even the blind can be helped. God appointed, where we are born, live and die. He appointed the country. It could be to say…send me back to Egypt, it was good there Ex 16: 3. We must all cope, with what the LORD says we must, wherever we live in this world. And the LORD has said, this is your country, now pray for your leaders 1 Tim 2:1-2.
