Flood Gates Not Opened yet…..

What are floodgates? Gen 7: 11; 8:2. Here the flood gates are opened and closed. Rain poured from heaven. Rain was stopped. In 2 Kings 7: 2, 19 here was a person who did not believe in the abundant provision of God, food, and reversal of situations. The man did not believe. It happened. He died verse 20. In Is 24: 18 it is about God’s punishment on the earth. And finally in Mal 3: 10, it is about being faithful to God in giving, and his promise to absolutely give finances to those who give in obedience, in all seasons. So in the Bible, opening the floodgates, means receiving from God, not just what is to be received, but you will be fully flooded. Fully receive. Receive so much you will not be able to contain it. But before the floodgates, which hold back much water, there must first be so much that is stockpiled. If you open the floodgates, and there is no water, it will do nothing. But God’s floodgates will either flood you with good things or bad things. I would like to focus on the floodgates of Mal 3:10 and the floodgates of provision 2 Kings 7: 2, 19. You must first store up, a lot, and then God will magnify and multiply what he will flood you with. Provision of funds, lets to provision of provisions. Mth 6: 20, store up, so in time, the floodgates of God will pour out on you. As I reflect, we started covid year, March 2020 with the whole top floor of MCLC a mess. We then turned it slowly into a completed school (except for science lab next year). A beautiful school. Completed by June 2021. With 17 students, we spent hundreds of thousands of pesos. We received via students, nothing. We had 17 students. This school year 2021-2022 we have increased the numbers, at the time of writing, to 23. A miracle we increased in numbers. A miracle. As I reflected on how the LORD is so providing for MCLC, I realised, the floodgates are not yet open. It has all been storing. But when they open, and they will, we will fill each classroom indeed. Floodgates open. Whatever it is you do, that you want God’s floodgates to open in your life, you need first to be storing well your relationship with Christ. It means handwork in service. It means going, when you can go no more. It means pain and effort. But you understand you are doing things for the LORD and his people. It may take many, many years. But all the time you are storing, God is multiplying what you are storing up. Store up well. Store up hard. Store up when you have, and when you don’t. Store up in pain and hardship. And see, how the LORD will open up the gates of provision, upon you. It will come…….store…wait…
