Gulf too wide.

In modern days we can travel from coast to coast. Shore to shore. There is no place we cannot get to. The distance earth to moon has been crossed. Soon earth to Mars will be crossed.

So how do you describe a barrier that cannot be breached? It could be Lk 16:26 a great chasm or Rev 9:1 the bottomless pit. It can't be got to. From one place to another place...you just can't get there. Impossible. This requires us to understand that you can't fly to another place. Just can't.

Another way to describe this...imagine...a wall...solid...so high...you can never get to the top of it. The wall goes on forever down down down...you just can't get into the other side of the wall. Nothing. We just cannot imagine something that cannot be breached. Beyond our minds.

On one side is you. One the other side is where you want to get. But you can't.  You know its good there. You know a person is there. But all you do....you can't get there.

You. The person you love. The gap can't be crossed.

Her heart is shut. To you. You give all. All. But the impenetrable heart is shut. She opens it. But not to you. You have given her all. But her heart is shut. She is not interested in you. You are a pain. She uses you to get all she wants. But she rejects you.

Pro 30:18-19. The way of a woman with a man.

One man gives all, loves, cares, protects, provides. Bottomless love.

Another man does nothing. Provides nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing.

She gives her heart to the one who has done nothing for her.

As Solomon says...who can understand  this?  You can't. You just can't.

To get into a heart...you can't. All you do, provide, love, means nothing unless the heart opens to you.
